Exploring Heritage NI is dedicated to illuminating and conveying the rich history and beautiful places of Northern Ireland to everyone. Born out of a love of archaeology and history, Ana Copeland created Exploring Heritage NI as a place to discuss and diversify our shared heritage.
Ana Copeland
With a BA in Archaeology and a MA in Cultural Heritage & Museum Studies, I provide professional advice and research in an accessible way. With over 3 years experience volunteering and working in the heritage sector, I continue to develop new skills and knowledge. I am passionate about sharing my expertise with everyone and enjoy collaborating with likeminded individuals and organisations. My areas of interest are varied but the bulk of my personal research has focused on Victorian cemeteries, cemetery development, the social history of Ireland, Royalty, aristocracy, Irish Big houses, maps and mapping and historic archaeology.
